Huff graduated from Florida State University with a major in Meteorology. Huff served as meteorologist and science reporter at WRBL in Columbus, Georgia in 1983 and received the American Meteorological Societys Seal of Approval for. In 2012, Huff received recognition for her dedication to foster care children at the New York City Court Appointed Special Advocates Spring Reception (CASA-NYC).” She was honored at 1199 SEIU / Employer Child Care Corporation’s “5th Annual Care for Kids Gala” for her dedication to children in New York and around the world. She was recognized at the “Family Focus Adoption Services (FFAS) Gala” for her work on behalf of adoptable children. Known for her passion for children in foster care, Huff is the host of Wednesday’s Child, a quarterly adoption feature.
